Terms of Service
Last updated 14 July 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use playtystnad.com and TYSTNAD Online. They are written to be read. If anything here is unclear, ask us and we will answer plainly.
Who we are
TYSTNAD Online and playtystnad.com are operated by Groggy Gremlin AB, a Swedish company, organisation number [ORGANISATION NUMBER], registered at [REGISTERED ADDRESS], Sweden. You can reach us at support@playtystnad.com.
What we sell
We sell digital products for the TYSTNAD tabletop roleplaying game: access to TYSTNAD Online for Game Masters, the Table Link that connects a player to a GM's campaign, and, when offered, digital books. Every paid product belongs to a TYSTNAD account, so purchasing requires creating one.
You own what you buy
Every purchase grants permanent ownership. There are no subscriptions, no recurring licence fees, no artificial expiration and no time-limited access. What you buy today keeps working, and we keep it working: bug fixes, security updates, compatibility updates and rule corrections remain part of the original purchase. New content such as adventures, expansions and future editions are new products. You pay for new work, never for old work continuing to function.
Expansions add to what you own. They never diminish or disable it.
Payment and the reseller
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and handles payment, VAT, receipts and refunds. When you buy, Paddle's buyer terms apply to the payment itself. See Ordering & Payment for the details.
Your account
Your account holds your ownership. Give us a working email address, choose a strong password and keep it to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be old enough to enter into this agreement under the law that applies to you, or have a guardian's consent.
Your data is yours
Everything you create on the platform remains yours. You can export your own data at any time in open, documented formats. You can delete your account; deletion removes your identity while the anonymous records that accounting law requires are preserved. No campaign should ever become hostage to the platform that created it.
Fair use
Use the platform honestly. You may not attempt to gain access you have not purchased, interfere with the service, resell or share account access to circumvent purchases, or use the platform for anything unlawful. We may suspend an account that does these things, and we will always tell you why.
Our content
The TYSTNAD game, its texts, art and software are protected by copyright and belong to us or our licensors. Your purchase grants you personal use. Digital books are DRM-free because we trust you; that trust does not include redistributing them.
Refunds
Our Refund Policy applies to every purchase. Nothing in these terms limits the statutory rights you hold as a consumer.
If TYSTNAD Online ever ends
Permanent ownership begins the day you purchase, not the day we disappear. Your data is always exportable, and DRM-free books you have downloaded remain yours whatever happens to us. If TYSTNAD Online can no longer be maintained, it is our stated intention to make the published TYSTNAD PDFs freely available to the tabletop community.
Liability
We are liable as Swedish consumer law requires, and these terms never limit rights that law gives you. Beyond what the law requires, our liability for a product is limited to the price you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect losses.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the platform grows. If a change matters, we tell you before it takes effect. No change ever takes away ownership you have already purchased.
Law and disputes
Swedish law governs these terms. If you are a consumer in the EU, the mandatory protections of your home country still apply. If we cannot resolve a dispute together, you can turn to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN) or the EU online dispute resolution platform, or to the courts.
